Close up photo of nut looks grimy but thats just graphite. This is a Tusq nut which prob doesn't need lube. At this time the nut is using a shim. I like the string height a bit high at nut end for more 'feel' with cowboy chords. Didn't want to replace nut since it is very dialed in. Shim can be easily removed with careful xacto work
